The Smith Center: A Plan for the Future
The Jacksonville Country Day School Board of Trustees and families have told us that to fulfill our vision we must add more space. Therefore, JCDS introduced the following fundraiser campaign:
• More room and enhanced facilities will further enrich our students' lives.
• A new multi-purpose facility will allow us to accommodate the demands of our student offerings and serve the larger community with our outreach programs.

Cost
Our Nurturing Minds, Building Character Capital Campaign will raise the funds needed to build The Smith Center, a state-of-the-art multi-purpose facility. Our campaign goal is $5 million.

The first floor of the Smith Center will feature the gym, a lobby, locker rooms, a snack bar, coaches' office, and "discovery rooms" for individual studies. Click to enlarge.

Vision
Jacksonville Country Day School places a strong emphasis on healthy minds and bodies. Our successful programs offer a variety of before- and after-school enrichment activities — athletics, dance, art, foreign language, band, and chorus to name a few — and these offerings are growing with the opportunity to add new courses and programs.
