JCDS Volunteer Opportunities
Jacksonville Country Day School offers two different ways that family members can become involved with the Jacksonville, Fl, private school:
• PEP: Click the link to read more and sign up online.
• Parents’ Association activities: Click the link to read more and sign up online.
What is PEP?
PEP stands for “Parents Encouraging Pupils.” PEP provides many volunteer opportunities for direct and indirect involvement in your child's education.
Please note: All parents and family members (grandparents are encouraged too!) who are interested in volunteering for a PEP activity at JCDS any time during the 2011-2012 school year ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND one of the PEP Training sessions. You are able to volunteer in a PEP activity only if you have participated in one of these training sessions. If you have already attended one during a previous school year you are not required to do it again. The PEP Training sessions have been scheduled for the following dates:
• Friday, September 9, 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
• Thursday, September 15, 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
• Friday, January 20, 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
Each training session will be held in the
Fine Arts Center auditorium.
If you are unable to attend one of these sessions, please contact one of the PEP Co-Chairs who will assist you in getting training at a time convenient to your schedule and the required staff’s schedule.
You may sign up for the PEP activities on line starting July 20, 2011. We would appreciate your commitment(s) by August 15th so that committee chairs can start planning.
If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact one of the chairpersons for PEP:
