Safe, Quality Care
Located in the ‘Jaguar Den’ on the beautiful Jacksonville Country Day School campus, the Extended Care program is operated as a convenience for parents of registered students at JCDS. As an extension of the regular school day, our program seeks to provide care that will compliment and support the mission of the school.
One of the primary goals of the program is to provide safe, quality care before and after the regular school hours. In order to accomplish this, our director and trained care providers have worked together to schedule afternoon activities for individual age groups and provide the best supervision and safety for your child.
The program includes daily homework time, physical and outdoor activities, arts and crafts, and a nutritious snack time. In addition to the regularly planned day, additional enrichment offerings such as cooking classes and tennis will be available throughout the year to students registered in the program.
Hours of Operation and Billing Rates:
- 7:15 A.M. - 8:05 A.M. $6.50
- 1:30 P.M. - 3:05 P.M. $47.00 per week (includes morning care)
- 1:30 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. $69.00 per week (includes morning care)
- 3:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. $57.00 per week (includes morning care)
- Occasional Care $8.50 per hour
Late Charge: $15.00 per fifteen minute increments after 6:00 p.m.
Billing for Extended Care will be completed monthly through the school business office. You will note this charge on your monthly school statement.
