Dance
Ms. Emily Dickert, JCDS Dance Director, offers classes Monday through Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Classes include ballet, cheer, jazz, tap, and hip hop.
Happy Feet
Coaches offer multiple classes on Wednesday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Classes focus on basic soccer skills, including dribbling, footwork, agility, and teamwork.
Kindermusik
Instructor, Mrs. Randi Cross, offers multiple classes Monday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Classes focus on fine and gross motor skill development, movement, listening, rhythm and musical awareness.
Piano Lessons
Multiple instructors offer individual classes Monday through Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
Play Ball
Coaches offer multiple classes on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Classes focus on fine and gross motor skill development, movement, listening, ball skills, sportsmanship and teamwork.
Violin Lessons
Instructor Jesse Mills offers individual lessons Tuesdays from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Grades 1 - 6
After School Sports
The JCDS Physical Education staff offers an after school sports program for 4th through 6th graders on Monday and Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Themes include basketball tournament, flag football, soccer, and other team sports. Offerings will be available for the 2010 spring term.

Art
Mrs. Stacy Bowen, JCDS Fine Arts Coordinator, offers classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Times for all classes will be 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Classes focus on a number of media including drawing, painting, special projects and mixed media.
Band
Ms. Crystal Staples, JCDS Band Director, offers classes Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. for all interested 4th through 6th graders. Both beginning and advanced band offerings are available.
Chinese
Mrs. Jenny Dulaney teaches Mandarin Chinese lessons on Wednesday from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Students will explore the art, culture, language, and music of the Chinese in this fun, interactive class.
Chorus
Mrs. Virgina Dickert, JCDS Choral and Music Director, has limited openings in her choral program for interested 4th through 6th graders. Rehearsals take place on Thursday from 3:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Jazzy J's
Mrs. Virginia Dickert, Music Director, has limited openings for interested 4th through 6th graders. Rehearsals take place on Tuesday from 3:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This group is a percussion ensemble using our school's Orff instruments, which are xylophones, metallophones, and glockenspiels.
